How to Find a Woman Worth Keeping… Dating Safety For Men

I wasn’t gonna say much about dating safety for men until I saw this post on Loveawake blog earlier today. “$20K Extorted From Man in Phone Dating Scam”

Just goes to show you that even though most of what you read and see about dating safety is directed at women, men need to be concerned too.

Perverts, sexual predators and weirdoes come in both sexes, all sizes, and all ages…as do, liars, cheaters and scammers. So men need to be cautious as well.
It’s pretty much common knowledge that you shouldn’t give out your personal information to strangers. If you come across someone who is giving out personal information and asking you to do the same, don’t do it. You haven’t a clue what they want to use it for…. they want to use it for something and believe me it won’t be for your benefit. You need to guard your real name, address, phone number, and place of employment. Don’t give out that kind of information to anyone online. At least make sure you are confident that they are who they say they are before you do.

While your out there trying to find a woman worth keeping here’s somethings to be on the look out for.

Be wary of women who seem to be financially needy. If they ask for money, women can ask for money in any of a dozen different ways , Break off the relationship immediately. They aren’t looking for love or friendship… they’re just looking for financial help.

If a woman gives you her phone number but you can’t ever reach her at that number, beware. If you always need to page them, text them or have them call you back, this could be a sign they aren’t being total honest and truthful with you.

Avoid instant intimacy. A need to get married and insecurity are other signs you need to be on the look out for. If she is pushing hard for a commitment you aren’t ready to make, it might be time to head for the nearest exit.
4 Ways To Tell If She Is Lying

1. You won’t be going to singles’ chat rooms dedicated specifically to online dating. Instead you will be in chat rooms of specific interest. An effective way of telling out if she is lying would be to ask her very pointed questions about the area of interest. If she fumbles or gives vague answers then you shouldn’t waste your time with her .

2. Another thing you can do is jot down whatever details she chooses to reveal to you and in subsequent chats nonchalantly question her about the details, if there is a contradiction in the two details then you can rest asured she is lying.

3. Ask her general questions but with a definite purpose, for example ask her what she is looking for in a relationship. Note down the answer. After a few chats repeat the question and see whether the two answers match.

4. You could also try pretending you have chatted with them before and innocently ask if she is such and such person (make something up). Offer compliments to her like, “I really enjoyed chatting with you the other day. You were perfectly charming…” and so on. If she falls for cheap flattery like this, then obviously she makes it a habit to chat under various identities.
